Kiev bans state entities from using Russian, Kaspersky Lab soft
KIEV, Sep 25 (PRIME) -- The Ukrainian government has forbidden state entities from using Russian software products, including those by Kaspersky Lab, as a part of the anti-Moscow sanctions, Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk said Friday at a meeting.
Yatsenyuk ordered the state special communications service to immediately stop upgrading programs, buying them and using by state authorities.
Kaspersky Lab and another Russian antivirus maker Dr.Web were added by Ukraine earlier in September to the expanded list of anti-Moscow sanctions.
Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko enacted the sanctions against Russia for one year with the list including 388 individuals and 105 legal entities.
